Hau Giang closely measures salinity instrusion

The salinity concentration measured at some key points in Hau Giang province is increasing strongly, in some places exceeding 0.7 percent. According to the Irrigation Department of Hau Giang province, compared to the same period, salinity levels are higher than 0.3-0.4 percent. Some times, salinity rises 0.2% in a day.

The functional departments of the most affected areas including Long My and Vi Thanh are closely monitoring and measuring salinity twice a day.
