VTV.vn - The Documentary and Report Center of Vietnam Television is about to launch a documentary series about children with rare diseases titled "Happy Children".

The Happy Kids series consists of 4 episodes: Parents are Dat's; Nghia, Ngan and An; Lam's Door and My Teacher Huyen. To film the character's stories, the crew had to regularly move between Hanoi, Bac Ninh and Nghe An.

Never mind waking up at sunset or returning home on sundown, the team diligently worked to bring beautiful love stories to the audience.

"What impressed me the most was that when I looked into the eyes and faces of the patients' parents, I saw the calm, the optimism and the determination to fight with their children until the end," said screenwriter Thanh Hong. Each of the 4 episodes depicts its own circumstances and ways of expressing love to children. Among the characters there are special common things which are energy, determination and how to see life.

With candid shots and no story interference, the team let the characters tell the story in the most natural way about their life, energy and family love. Screenwriter Thanh Hong and director Hong Diep told the stories in the most honest way and true to their feelings.

Stay tuned every Wednesday from October 28 at 10:30 p.m. on VTV1 for Happy Children.
