Speaking at the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung reported to Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung and the delegation about the history of establishment and development of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos as well as Vietnamese agencies in Laos.
Ambassador Nguyen Ba Hung reported on the socio-economic development of Laos along with the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
Dinh Tien Dung announced the results of the visit from Hanoi's high-ranking delegation to Laos as well as the socio-economic development situation in the capital city of Hanoi. In recent times, especially amidst the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Party Committee and the Hanoi government have made quick and appropriate decisions with high political determination. The current Hanoi capital is developing in a sustainable way, focusing on building important infrastructure, including transport infrastructure, in other areas are large hospitals and educational institutions.
Dinh Tien Dung said that the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos is a large diplomatic establishment of Vietnam in Laos, which creates favourable conditions for Vietnam's foreign activities in Laos. He affirmed that Laos is a particularly important area in diplomatic activities and that the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos has made many important contributions in advising the Party and State leaders in the development of foreign policy.

Dinh Tien Dung highly appreciated LaoVietBank's activities and affirmed that, although it has only been 23 years since its establishment, LaoVietBank has grown steadily, with effective business operations, becoming one of the top 3 largest commercial banks in Laos and the leading commercial banks with Vietnamese capital operating in Laos.
* Also on April 5, Dinh Tien Dung and a high-ranking delegation of Hanoi City visited the Institute of Economics and Finance Dongkhamxang, which is an academy built by Vietnamaid that is currently building and upgrading its third phase with a total value of more than 176 billion VND funded by Vietnam.
* On the evening of April 5, the high-ranking delegation of Hanoi City led by Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung concluded its visit to Laos, with many good results.
