The amount includes 238.3 trillion VND of domestic revenue, 1.9 trillion VND of crude oil revenue and 13 trillion VND in revenue from import and export activities.
Some main sources of revenue in the first seven months of this year include revenue from State-owned enterpries (up 37% over the same period last year), foreign investors (up 23.1%), non-State enterprises (up 6.8%), personal income tax (up 0.3%), land use (down 30.6%), vehicle registration fees (down 27.1%) and others.
According to the Hanoi Statistics Office, budget spending was estimated at 45.7 trillion VND (1.93 billion USD) in the seven-month period, reaching 43.5% of the yearly estimate and up 26.4% over the same period in 2022.
Of the total budget spending, about 18.8 trillion VND was spent on development investment, up 53.1% while 26.9 billion VND was recurrent expenditure, up 14.2% over the corresponding period last year.
