The campaign will take place for the two months of July and August, during which the young volunteers are expected to build at least 30 projects, including playgrounds, user-friendly toilets, concrete roads and charity houses.
They are also planning to plant 50,000 trees, repair 70 kilometres of roads, build 10 kilometres of new rural roads, and provide healthcare check-ups and medicine to 15,000 policy beneficiaries.
According to the Hanoi Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Ngoc Viet, the volunteers will also donate 15,000 units of blood and providing links to jobs for 15,000 young people.
On the occasion, the Hanoi Youth Union collaborated with the Hanoi Students Association to launch a contest to increase awareness about the dangers of narcotics and a campaign to raise public awareness regarding Covid-19.
