In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings table for computer science subjects, Hanoi University of Science and Technology was ranked in the 601 - 749 group.
The 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings table for engineering and technology subjects uses the same rigorous and balanced range of 13 performance indicators as the overall World University Rankings, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields.
It highlights the universities that are leading across general engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, civil engineering and chemical engineering subjects. This year, the engineering and technology ranking has also expanded to include 1,008 universities, up from 903 last year.
In September this year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology together with the Vietnam National University - Hanoi, and the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City were also named in the Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings.
