This is the 33rd year the event has been held and has attracted 100 traditional martial arts clubs and schools from Vietnam and abroad. The event has gathered 2000 martial artists to participate and exhibit their techniques and specialties. It has also drawn the interest of international clubs such as the Russian Wing Chun Federation, and Traditional Vietnamese Martial Arts Federations in Ukraine and Laos. The even will host the Thang Long Cup 2017, a traditional martial arts tournament where participants compete in a variety of categories including one-on-one combat, performance, weapons and internal martial arts.
