The system is expected to be piloted in 3 cities and provinces initially, including Bac Ninh province, Phu Tho province and Hanoi. Today, Hanoi used the e-health monitoring unit in 2 communes of Long Bien District. Nearly 300 people came to set up their e-health files at the Phuc Dong health clinic.
The participants were given an overall health check and were tested for their blood type. Hanoi plans to continue the pilot project in 10 communes and wards in 5 districts including Long Bien, Ba Dinh, Nam Tu Liem, Gia Lam and Soc Son.
The city's Department of Health plans to set up 150 delegations of doctors to carry out check-ups prior to setting up e-health files for citizens. It is estimated that around 50% of Hanoi's population or roughly 4 million people will have e-health files within the year.
