VTV.vn - Hanoi recorded 9,623 COVID-19 cases on March 26, the first time that the daily infection figure has been lower than 10,000 since February 25, according to the municipal health department.

Cases were reported in all 30 districts and towns of the capital city, with Ha Dong District recording the largest number of cases at 984, followed by Dong Anh District and Hoang Mai District with 931 and 533 cases, respectively.

Hanoi’s health officials said the capital city has reached its COVID-19 peak and the number of cases is going down.

Since April 29, 2021, Hanoi has recorded more than 1.25 million cases in total. As of March 25, the capital city had 252,700 active cases, down by 11,500 from a day earlier.

The capital city reported only one death on March 25, raising the total death toll since April 27 last year to 1,318.
