Hanoi provides guidelines for treatment of children with COVID-19

Specifically, children over 3 months old should be treated at home. If the child is not eligible for home treatment, he or she can be treated at a district hospital.

Children whose medical conditions are not stable, who are obese, or who are under 3 months old will be transferred to a general hospital for treatment.

Moderate child cases of COVID-19 will be treated at general hospitals with paediatric departments.

Severe case will be admitted to Thanh Nhàn, Hà Đông, Đức Giang, Saint Paul, and Sơn Tây hopsitals. Central hospitals and ministerial-levelhospitals will receive both mild and severe cases.
