Operating 24/7, the kiosk is located near 89 Đinh Tiên Hoàng Street and supports multiple languages.
The model is expected to ease the workload of local police, improve public security and order, and gradually expand smart, people-centred services.
During the pilot phase, the Smart Police Station has five main functions: filing reports and complaints; SOS emergency calls; crime alert information; finding police station locations; and legal enquiries.
When filing a report, AI and voice technology help record information and suggest missing details. The information is then sent to the relevant police unit for processing. Hanoi is the first locality in Vietnam to pilot the Smart Police Station kiosk
