VTV.vn - The first house for rescued bears in Hanoi has put into operation after 6 months of construction. The 1,000 square metre house, which can accommodate up to 20 bears is under the control of the Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre.

The barns are designed with four captive closed rooms with semiautomatic doors and green space, swimming pool and toys for the bears. The house is surrounded by a protective electronic fence ensuring safety and a friendly environment for visitors to interact with the bears. The sponsor of the project NGO Four Paws will continue to provide financial and technical support for the house as part of efforts to put an end to the illegal bear trade in Vietnam.
