In the live broadcast live on October 26 by Vietnam Television, Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a 12th-grade student majoring in Biology at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, delivered an outstanding performance to claim the championship.
On October 28, the Hanoi People’s Committee held a ceremony to commend collectives and individuals who achieved excellence in the 2025 Road to Olympia Mount competition. During the ceremony, representatives of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the official commendation decision of the city.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee signed a decision to award Certificates of Merit to four collectives and individuals for their achievements in the Road to Olympia Mount 2025 competition.

The four awardees are: Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted; the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; teacher Bui Thi Thu Ha, homeroom teacher of Class 12 Biology at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted; and student Tran Bui Bao Khanh, Class 12 Biology at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
In addition to the Certificate of Merit, Khanh was awarded VND50 million(approximately USD 2,000) by the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Department of Education and Training.
Speaking at the event, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong praised the remarkable achievement of the young champion, describing his result as “spectacular”. Although majoring in Biology, Bao Khanh demonstrated strong knowledge across multiple subjects, showed confidence and composure, and provided many excellent answers throughout the competition.

Bao Khanh shared that the victory was not only a personal milestone but also a meaningful tribute to his family, teachers, and everyone who supported him. He expressed his determination to continue studying and improving himself in order to make a positive contribution to society in the future. The new champion emphasized that winning the Road to Olympia Mount competition is neither the finish line, nor a stopping point, and promised to keep moving forward.

With this achievement, Tran Bui Bao Khanh becomes the second student from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted to win the Olympia championship in the program's 25-year history.
