Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoàng Trung Hải attended the event. The people’s council of Hanoi has issued resolutions and has held Q&A sessions at meetings on the issue of waste processing in the city.
However, there are still difficulties in handling the issue, leading to pollution in lakes in Hanoi. The processing of medical waste, especially solid waste has also caused complaints in a number of localities.
