With rich culture, a long history and beautiful landscapes, Hanoi is considered a city with rich natural and cultural travel resources. The ‘Hanoi Emotion’ tour explores Hanoi’s unique tangible and intangible values, including natural landscapes, religious works and beliefs, revolutionary historical sites, arts, old houses, ancient streets and villages, traditional craft villages, and unique folk arts. ‘Hanoi Emotion’ is based on existing tourism strengths of the capital city. Visitors have an opportunity to not only enjoy the beauty of the scenery but also experience Hanoians’ daily life.
The program takes visitors to some of the top destinations in Hanoi such as the longest mosaic wall in the world at a length of about 3,850m, the more than 100 year-old Long Bien Bridge, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Bat Trang Pottery Village, Van Phuc Silk Village, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long , Temple of Literature and Ba Vi National Park.
The ‘Emotion of Hanoi’ programme is considered a ‘push’ for the professionalization of special products in particular and the municipal tourism sector. In the past years, the city’s tourism sector has continuously researched and provided many new products to serve tourists, promoting its typical products. In addition to attracting international tourists, Hanoi has also focused on exploiting domestic passenger flow, especially in central and south Vietnam.
The Hanoi Department of Tourism co-operated with Vietnam Airlines and four travel agencies in Hanoi, - Hanoitourist, NewStar Tour, Anh Duong Tour and ITC Travel - to build the ‘Emotion of Hanoi’ programme.
Besides the key tourism sites in Hanoi, the ‘Hanoi Emotion’ tour incorporates other famous landmarks of the north. For the 4 day and 3 night tour, the all-inclusive price from Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City is VND 4.98 million and VND 5.98 million respectively. The tours have attracted the interest of tourism companies in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Director of Hanoitourist travel company Luu Duc Ke said that on the tour, visitors will learn about and experience the tangible and intangible values of Hanoi, as well as explore the famous scenic spots of the nation that have long been trademarks of the national tourism industry.
Chairman of Hanoi Tourism Association Nguyen Quang Lan believed that the tour would contribute to promote, motivate and refresh the image, reputation and brand of the municipal tourism capital. The tour is a key tourism product of Hanoi, serving as grounds to develop other products for specific markets, he added.
Director of the Hanoi Tourism Department Do Dinh Hong said that in order to give visitors diversified and unique experiences, Hanoi will continue to build tours connecting to other domestic and foreign destinations. The city is concerned with preferential policies to attract investments and has created favorable conditions for businesses as well as visitors to the capital.
