VTV.vn - The Hanoi Department of Transport has decided to ease social distancing rules on public transport from March 8 and to remove limits on the number of passengers allowed on board.

However, the department still requested the relevant units implement the 5K message well - Khau trang (face mask), Khu khuan (disinfection), Khoang cach (distance), Khong tu tap (no gathering), and Khai bao y te (health declaration).

Drivers, service staff and passengers are required to wear face masks properly during every trip.

Vehicles must be equipped with hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol), disinfectant solution, and a trash bin with lid. The disinfection of vehicles will take place before and after each trip.

Also, transport businesses and vehicle owners need to propagate and mobilise passengers using smartphones to install the Bluezone app in order to receive early warning when they accidentally have contact with COVID-19 cases, thus protecting themselves and the community at large.

After a period of temporary closure, a series of key relics in Hanoi, such as Hoa Lo Prison Relic, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Temple of Literature, and Ngoc Son Temple, reopened to the public on March 8.

Visitors to the relics in Hanoi will receive body temperature measurement, as well as having to disinfect their hands and wear face masks.
