Ha Noi speeds up F1, F2 tracing
On the afternoon of February 16, Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue inspected the COVID-19 preventive measures in Tay Ho district and the residence of a Japanese patient who died at the Somerset Westpoint Hotel.

Up to this point, Hanoi had 2 F1 positive cases related to the Japanese patient who died with Covid-19. At present, the tracing of F1 and F2 is facing difficulties because the cause of death has not been determined, and the source of transmission has not been identified.

The patient's travel schedule had been quite busy. Hanoi's Center for Disease Control has verified 2 positive F1 cases. 557 people were tested and received negative results for the 1st time. Hanoi Party Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue asked relevant authorities to quickly verify the source of transmission and prepare for the worst scenario of losing track of positive cases in the community.

Students in the capital city will have to switch to online learning until the end of February. People returning to Hanoi to study and work, especially people from the pandemic affected area, must fill out health declarations.
