Speaking at the ceremony to mark the milestone, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Duy Ngoc praised Ha Nam for its effective implementation of the national scheme on developing applications on population data as well as electronic identification and verification.
He asked the province to continue issuing chip-mounted ID cards to people who reach the eligible age.

Ha Nam has determined 2023 as a year of creating and utilising databases to create new values, focusing on connecting and sharing data between ministries, agencies, and localities to better serve the people and businesses.
