Attending the event were Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, leaders of ministries and localities, along with 700 delegates comprised of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and Labour Heroes. Speaking at the event, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong affirmed that the call for patriotic emulation continue to have historical significance and that all Vietnamese people should continue to hold fast to these ideals.
