Medical workers working at COVID-19 treatment field hospitals in Thu Duc City and District 7 can book GrabCar Medical to go home or to medical facilities and testing centres in Ho Chi Minh City.
COVID-19 patients who have recovered from the disease and are allowed to be discharged from hospitals in Thu Duc and District 7 can also book the free transport service to return to their homes in inner Ho Chi Minh City.
Grab Vietnam said that the drivers for GrabCar Medical are volunteers who have been vaccinated with at least one dose and will be given priority to receive their second dose soon.
The cars are equipped with protective equipment to ensure safety during the operation.
All costs for the operation of the GrabCar fleet, including medical equipment and accommodation for drivers, are funded by Grab Vietnam.
