During a working session with ministries on reforming specialized inspections and simplifying business conditions on Thursday, Minister and Chief of the Government Office Mai Tiến Dũng revealed that the average time for checking imports and exports in Vietnam is 76 hours while the figure in ASEAN-4 is only 28 hours.
Many state agencies are still slow in implementing plans for improving the business environment while some still do not have detailed instructions though they have already had policies for reducing specialized inspections.
Minister Mai Tiến Dũng once again stressed the Government's requirement that all state agencies must complete their draft decrees on cutting business conditions by August 15th.
These decrees must follow the criteria that one item for import - export is inspected by only one ministry.
