Government regular meeting focuses on revised draft law

In the morning session, the Government agreed to continue the stabilized pricing system for container handling services at Cai Mep Seaport. However, the Government also stressed that this is only a temporary solution. In the long-term, prices must follow the market mechanism.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the stabilized price implemented for the past 2 years prevent prices from dropping too low due to competition.

Also during this session, the government commented on reports about the overall payroll, number of prosecutors and the turnover rate of prosecutors. The government also discussed the revised law on the Bill on Drugs and the Law on Child Protection, Care and Education, and agreed to submit the draft law to the National Assembly.

This afternoon, the Government will continue regular meetings to discuss the socio-economic situation in July and review the country'seconomic performance since the beginning of 2015.
