The company has two major joint ventures with Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), namely Rusvietpetro and Vietsovpetro.
Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc reiterated that co-operation in oil and energy is a priority for the partnership between the two countries. The government leader said the Vietnamese government's readiness to support sustainable, long-term and mutually-beneficial collaboration between the two countries, as well as between PetroVietnam and Zarubezhneft. On the occasion, he also ordered the operation of an oil station in west-Khosedau.
Also in the same day, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc laid wreaths at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier memorial located at the Kremlin Wall in the Alexander Garden in Moscow.
The prime minister also visited the Lenin’s Mausoleum in Moscow. He attributed the success of the Vietnamese revolution to its foundation in Marxism-Leninism.
