The meeting is scheduled to focus on key issues and seek agreement for a number of documents in preparations for the summit as well as hear discussions on issues between countries’ leaders.
The two high-level meetings of the Greater Mekong Sub-region Co-operation Summits and the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area will discuss the Hanoi Action plan. Previously, the involved parties reviewed the results achieved in the GMS Economic Cooperation Program on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of cooperation. They also identified new opportunities and challenges in the process of globalization that affect regional cooperation. High-ranking officials that represent participating countries also expressed their appreciation for Vietnam's efforts in hosting the meetings.
