German Vietnamese community celebrates Tet early

A celebration was held in Rostock and the surrounding areas in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State and head organiser Nguyen Duy Long used the occasion to highlight the unity among Vietnamese in Germany and their contribution to the country.

Vietnamese Ambassador in Germany Doan Xuan Hung also expressed his joy at attending the event. He wished Vietnamese people living and working in the country, as well as German friends, an early happy new year.

There were various performances that demonstrate the working life of Vietnamese people in Rostock and show their love to the city. The organisers used the opportunity to present gifts to students from Vietnamese families with good academic achievements.
