As the Lunar New Year draws near, comedy fans nationwide are eagerly awaiting the Gala Laugh program. The first episode aired on August 30, 2003. Originally part of the “Weekend Meeting” program, Gala Laugh is now broadcast once a year on the second day of the Lunar New Year on VTV3. Gala Laugh regularly brings together Vietnam’s top comedians. It serves as a creative platform for artists and a meaningful spiritual gift for the audience during the festive New Year atmosphere. This year, Gala Laugh 2025 takes as its theme "Let the Laughter Ring" – spreading laughter to connect people and enrich the spiritual values of life.

Gala Laugh 2025 will continue to be a harmonious blend of classic comedy skits and new, surprising performances by comedians from the North and South. The program will feature beloved comedians such as People’s Artist Hong Van, Lam Vi Da, Chien Thang, Viet Bac, Ba Anh, Lam Duc Anh, Thanh Duong, and Thuong Cin. It has also been revealed that alongside the comedy acts, there will be performances by renowned singers, including Quoc Thien, Ha Myo, and Quach Mai Thy.
