The team is training in Ho Chi Minh City’s Thai Son Nam Gymnasium.
As planned, they will leave for Spain on September 17 for a two-week training session, in preparation for the event. The team will compete in several friendly matches here.
Eleven teams will play in the AFF event, which will be held in Thailand from October 8 to 18. The top three teams of the championship will qualify for the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship.
Vietnam is in Group B, along with Australia, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines. Group A includes Thailand, Indonesia, Timor-Leste and Brunei, along with Malaysia and Singapore.
