Fruit garden festival opens in Can Tho

The festival has become increasingly popular as it features the products of local farmers. The most notable part of the festival is the decorating and shaping of fruit trees, which are prepared carefully by farmers the day before. The event also involves activities such as a bonsai contest, a Vovinam competition for the youth, an exhibition on local traditional crafts, a trade fair, folk games and folk music performances. The festival also welcomes the recognition of Tân Lộc Đông Shrine as the city's cultural and historical relic.
