Free movement of labour in ASEAN
VTV.vn - According to agreements reached by the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), skilled labourers in professions can freely move within the ASEAN bloc to find employment.
According to statistics, in 2013, the ASEAN region saw the movement of 6.5 million workers, 35% of these workers came from ASEAN countries themselves. This shows that there's a high demand for finding jobs overseas, and if current issues are resolved, this will be a good source of highly-skilled labourers in the future.
