Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc took the occasion to thank Mr. Hatoyama for promoting Vietnam-Japan ties, underlining that the two countries’ relationship is developing strongly across the fields, particularly in economic, trade and investment cooperation.
The former Japanese Prime Minister expressed his joy at the robust cooperation between the two countries and showed interest in the building of infrastructure in the form of public-private partnerships (PPP). It's currently being discussed by the Vietnamese National Assembly.
