Forum for disadvantaged children held in Ho Chi Minh City

The children talked about the lack of play grounds in the city, the difficulties that disadvantaged children face in accessing entertaining activities, and the need to renovate the school syllabus and add more life skills classes. The forum aims to raise public awareness about children's right to participate in policymaking that affects them directly, especially for those of disadvantaged backgrounds. Ho Chi Minh City is now home to 1.4 million children of which fifteen thousand are disadvantaged.
