The February episode of “For a Thriving Vietnam,” entitled “Education for Happiness”, is not just a conversation about changes in modern educational methods, but also a profound journey exploring the importance of creating a positive learning environment where each student can develop comprehensively. This is not only about expanding knowledge but also about nurturing emotions, spirit, and human values – essential elements in shaping a generation of young people who are happy and healthy both physically and mentally.
The program will feature insights and contributions from leading education experts such as Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thanh Nam – Vice Rector of the Faculty of Education at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Mrs. Pham Thi Thu Huong – Vice Rector of TH School. The experts will discuss how to integrate “happiness” into Vietnam's education system, thus suggesting friendly and healthy school models that help students develop not only intellectually but also emotionally and in their community relationships.

The program will also provide a comprehensive look at the SPIRE model (Spiritual – Mental, Physical – Physical, Intellectual – Intellectual, Relationship – Community Relationships, Emotional – Emotional), a holistic approach to education that helps students develop uniformly in these areas. The program aims to inspire all levels of education, from preschool to university, to put these elements into practice, creating learning environments that focus not only on academic results but also on the happiness of each student.

In the context of a rapidly developing society and technology, particularly with the strong growth of artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on educating the heart and emotions of students becomes even more important. This change will not only help students become better prepared for the future but also ensure that they grow into responsible, compassionate citizens who are able to adapt to all of life's challenges.
Through the program, the producers hope to inspire an educational community where “happiness” is not just a goal but also the foundation for the sustainable development of each student and society as a whole.
The program will be broadcast at 8:10 PM tonight (February 22) on VTV1.
