Flood-hit Son La prepares for new school year

In Son La Province's Muong La District, teachers and students are facing many difficulties and the new school year with trepidation. The report comes from Nặm Păm Primary School, where 23 classrooms were completely washed away.

At the moment, more than 300 teachers from Muong La District have been deployed to the farthest villages isolated by the floods to prepare necessary conditions to establish temporary classrooms right at the location.

The new school year is approaching, and the pupils in flood-hit areas are in great need of support to go to school, even if they're only temporary classrooms.
