VTV.vn - The Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) held a ceremony in Hanoi on September 12 to announce the launch of the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards.

The awards are the first of its kind to be held for organisations and individuals operating in digital content creation — a field with rich potential and is growing very quickly in Vietnam.

Speaking at launch ceremony, VNDCA Chairman Nguyen Minh Hong said that the awards will be held annually from 2023 to honour and encourage the digital content creation community to create high-quality products with profound cultural and educational value for both domestic and international users.

The awards are also expected to contribute to promoting Vietnam's digital content industry, film and cultural industry, and the development of the country's digital economy.

The awards are open to both Vietnamese and foreigners living in Vietnam who are involved in the research, development, and application of technology in digital content products.

It features two categories with seven sub-categories. Accordingly, the first category honouring best digital content products includes four sub-categories: short film, animation, advertising film, and educational digital product.

Meanwhile, the second category for best content creation businesses, organisations and individuals comprises three sub-categories: outstanding digital content creator, digital content creator for the community, and promising digital content creator.

Entries must be submitted to the awards’ portal at https://dcca.org.vn/huong-dan-nop-ho-so before November 30.

The winners of the awards will be honoured at a ceremony scheduled to take place in Hanoi this December this year.
