The Quang Trach-Quynh Luu section has a total length of 226 kilometres, running through the three provinces of Quang Binh, Ha Tinh and Nghe An.
Under the direction of the Prime Minister, the entire Circuit-3 500kV line must be completed by September 2 to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.
Once completed, the project will help reduce the load on existing 500kV transmission lines, allowing for greater power supply from the south-central region to the north.
Since the construction commenced in January, the project has received the continued attention of the Prime Minister, ministries and the state power utility EVN, as well as the support of local authorities and people in areas where the line runs through.
The construction process faced a great deal of difficulties and challenges, but workers and engineers involved in the project worked with the highest responsibility to complete it on schedule.
A ceremony to formally inaugurate the transmission line is expected to be held in the coming days.
