Fight against illegal fishing strengthened

On Monday, the European Parliament Committee on Fisheries is expected to make a visit to the two provinces of Binh Dinh and Hai Phong.  Since the trips will have a major impact on their decision early next year, the coastal provinces have been implementing the EC's recommendations in their fishing activities.

Since last October, when the yellow card was issued, fishermen have been fishing in regulated waters and enterprises have been rejecting unreported and unregulated fish.
