Films for the competition are selected from nearly fifty countries and territories around the world, some of which have never competed in international film festivals in Asia.
Themed "Cinema: Integration and Sustainable Development", the festival is slated for October 27-31. The screenings will take place at the National Cinema Centre, the August Theatre, the Kim Đồng movie theatre, and others. A script-writing camp, a film project market, free screenings, and film discussions will be arranged.
A wide range of awards will be presented at the end of the event, including those for best film, director, actors, and actresses.
