Festival honors silk and brocade craft

The festival brings together silk producers from seven Asian countries and 12 Vietnamese silk villages as well as artisans from ethnic groups across Vietnam. The two-day festival features an exhibition of silk products, a seminar discussing solutions to develop Vietnam's silk industry, a fashion show of silk collections from 20 designers and producers, as well as performances introducing traditional weaving and dyeing techniques of the silk villagers.
