The event was jointly organized by the Sa Pa District People's Committee and Sun World Fansipan Legend. This festival kicked off on February 19 and will last until February 25, or the 10th day of the Lunar New Year.
Themed "Spring in the Northwest", the Festival has transformed the venue into a unique "highland village." Highlights of the festival include a "khen" blowing competition (a H'mong people's woodwind instrument) and folk games. The Northwest Culture Day not only provides visitors with fun activities and experiences, but also honors and preserves the values of indigenous culture.
