Festival for breast cancer patients in Ho Chi Minh City

VTV.vn - On Sunday, Pink Hat Day, a festival for patients with breast cancer took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

With the theme “A second chance to live”, the event aimed to inspire those people suffering from breast cancer.

One of the main activities at the event was the free haircut service featuring 20 stalls where people could donate their hair to breast cancer patients.

500 people donated their hair at the event. In addition to the free haircut service, the event also featured 53 photos of celebrities and patients with encouraging messages.

Other notable activities during Pink Hat Day included clothing donations, free breast cancer screenings provided by a Singaporean hospital, and a book launch by Pham Thuy Tien, manager of the Vietnam Breast Cancer Network.
