Fast food giants face challenges in Vietnam
VTV.vn - Fast food giants such as McDonald's and Burger King have met a lot of success globally. In over 100 markets, Burger King has stores and McDonald's has nearly double that amount.
Despite their international popularity, a recent report on American news-channel CNBC has noted the "underwhelming" performance of these fast food giants in the Vietnamese market. Both restaurants serve food that's considered to be more suitable to the Asian palate.
