Farm produce markets to launch in Ho Chi Minh City

The markets' management committees and vendors are completing their final preparations for the project. Hoc Mon wholesale market is the biggest pork supplier in Ho Chi Minh City, providing 50 to 55% of pork to the market. Pork stalls here will have to meet 27 different criteria when the clean farm produce model is applied. The Hồ Chí Minh City Food Safety Management Board will also schedule regular checks on the origins and quality of products delivered to the market. Moreover, inspection teams will instruct vendors to keep origin records of their fruits and vegetables.
