Fares stable despite passenger surge
VTV.vn - Today, the last day of the Tet holiday, has seen a sudden surge in the number of people leaving their hometowns to return to school and work in Ho Chi Minh city, Binh Duong, and Lam Dong provinces.

Despite this surge of passengers, ticket prices still remain within reach. A bus ticket from Can Tho to HCMC is about 140 thousand VND or 6 USD, to Lam Dong 460 thousand VND or 20 USD. Passengers are reportedly satisfied with the fares and bus times this year. More buses are deployed with more trips throughout the day. There is one departure every 15 minutes from Nguyen Van Linh station in Can Tho city.  Around 24 thousand passengers are estimated to travel from Mekong delta provinces to HCMC and nearby provinces.
