Fake internet banking websites now a problem

The interfaces of these websites are very similar to those of genuine websites.

Last week, Vietcombank detected a website with the same interface as its internet banking service. In addition, many fake websites have domains names that are very similar to Vietcombank's official website.

The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has also reported the existence of a similar fake website. Users who log into these fake websites are at high risk of losing both information and money from their accounts. Users are warned against opening links from unknown websites or advertisements.
