VTV.vn - Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, apologized on Wednesday evening for his company's handling of the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal. It has been estimated that 50 million Facebook users' data was used by Cambridge Analytica.

Zuckerberg wrote a Facebook post in which he said the company had made mistakes.

The company laid out a 3-part plan designed to reduce the amount of data shared by users with outside developers, and said it would audit some developers who had access to large troves of data before earlier restrictions were implemented in 2014. He also said he will restrict developers' access to data of users who haven't used their app for more than 3 months.

Another change, coming in the next month, will involve Facebook offering more information to users on how they can modify settings for which apps can access information.
