Vietnam’s trade turnover in the first 5 months maintained the good growth momentum achieved at the end of last year, with export turnover of agro-forestry-fishery products, in particular, reaching over 23 billion USD, up 17% over the same period. This is according to information released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Specifically, the export turnover of key seafood products is estimated at nearly 5 billion USD, up more than 46%. There are also multiple products that registered a turnover of over 1 billion USD such as coffee, rubber, pangasius, shrimp, and wood products. The United States remained Vietnam’s largest export market, followed by China.
