Exploring the social responsibilities of journalists

About 18,000 journalists in Vietnam are working to deliver an objective view of current events and social issues to readers and audiences everyday. As their words can make a fundamental impact on people's knowledge, honesty and social responsibility are crucial to the work ethics of each journalist. In the last days of his life, late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet wrote: "Journalists do not choose the press as a career simply just to make a living; I believe the press has a responsibility to its nation and community''.
