Expansion of Tan Son Nhat airport discussed

On Tuesday, a discussion on the expansion of Tan Son Nhat International Airport was held with the participation of the Ministries of Transport and Defence and ADPI - the French airport engineering company that has carried out an independent survey on the Tan Son Nhat Airport plan. Most participants at the event agreed that expanding the southern part of the airport is the most feasible and economical plan but that the impact on surrounding areas must be thoroughly considered.  

ADPI’s proposed plan is an independent opinion. In the coming time, the Ministry of Transport and related state agencies will have to carry out additional procedures before the plan is finalized.
