VTV.vn - The typical agricultural product fair and exhibition 2022, organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture, officially opened in Thu Duc city, on May 24.

According to Huynh Thi Kim Xuyen, Vice President of the HoChi Minh City Farmers' Association and the head of the event’s organising board, the typical agricultural product fair and exhibition is one of the most meaningful and practical activities organised annually by the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association.

The typical agricultural product fair and exhibition 2022 will take place from May 24, 2022 to May 29, 2022 with 160 booths displaying and introducing the city's key agricultural products, high quality OCOP products, such as orchids, bonsai, ornamental plants, vegetables, mushrooms, packaged products, seeds, fertilizers, garden tools.

Within the framework of the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association are also organising many meaningful and practical activities such as communication conferences and knowledge training for farmers to put agricultural products on the Postmart.vn e-commerce platform; Workshop on OCOP product development solutions in the city; Competitions featuring orchids and ornamental plants; Organising social security care activities for people with difficult circumstances in Thu Duc city, offering 90 scholarships (worth 1 million VND each) to poor and near-poor students of the Thu Duc city Farmers' Association, and organising entertainment and culinary activities for people.
