VTV.vn - A photo exhibition opened along Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in Ho Chi Minh City on February 1 to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1930-2020).

Works on display include 300 coloured and black-and-white photos highlighting the historical milestones of Vietnamese people’s struggle for national liberation under the leadership of the Party over the past nine decades.

The exhibits also praise significant achievements in national construction and defence as well the resilient revolutionary traditions of Ho Chi Minh City people along with the fruitful outcomes of the city’s socio-economic development.

Also, this morning, an exhibition entitled ‘Spring comes in Ho Chi Minh City’ kicked off along the Ly Tu Trong – Pasteur route, introducing visitors to the municipal authorities’ efforts and activities in caring for policy beneficiaries, workers, ethnic groups in remote areas and disadvantaged people in the city.

Meanwhile, a display themed ‘Country enters spring’ was organised at Chi Lang Park in District 1, with the exhibits having been selected from a photo contest launched in December 2019 by the city’s Association of Photography.

The photos vividly capture the beauty of the country’s natural landscape and people with the arrival of spring as well as during Tet celebrations and the traditional customs of ethnic groups across the country.
